We are onto the 3rd iteration of Maindo. A solid and simply stable coffee. This is Maindo 3.0, from the latest harvest release. This coffee hails from the amazing Aghora Estate, a wildlife-friendly farm managed by Ms. Rohini Rajgopal. She is a 5th generation planter so the coffee has been and is in the family.
The coffees we got our hands-on, with are double fermented washed coffees. This means two varied coffee fermentation that took place in the wet milling stage. Coffees are roasted to a medium level. This coffee is one of those straight-off bold and banging chocolate-tasting coffees. Though the coffee starts by giving out some complex tasting notes, with the brighter stone fruit flavors in the beginning and then the lingering signature chocolate taste. The flavor notes flirt on your tongue later on with the smooth caramel and ends with a hazelnut finish.
